I thought the pictures online looked too good to be true, and the first thing I did was check the paint job! Happy to report it is EXACTLY like the photos. Perfect paint job. The pose is cartoonist, but the paint job is very realistic. Love the shiny wet look from the glossy eyes! It was a birthday present for a giraffe-collecting friend and when she saw it, she squeeled. It is so delightful and FULLY painted and sturdy.
